I'm thinking about buying thechrome custom console, H-D part # 71306-04,for my FLHR Road King. I would like to know if anybody out there has made this conversion, and how much trouble was it to install?

 

I looked at the same piece, then decided on the Kuruakan chrome cover. Its an extremely well crafted and high quality item.
$56 shipped new in the box from Ebay.

The console should be an easy install - remove your original and you'll see what I mean - just a screwdriver and a couple of sockets should be all you need.
