Thanks brother, if I can help in any way just holler.

BTW... gaskets can most times be reused.... mine have a dozen or more changes on them. If you do replace, go genuine HD, trust me

Good to know. Do I use any sealant?

Nope, no sealant needed. Just be gentle in removing/handling them so as not to bend them.

A photos of what'e inside... Some old, some new...

Cam tensioner - I thought it might have been more beat-up by now.

Inner bearing - why not?

Stock cam - 31,000 miles.

Out with the old and in with the new.

Wrapping-up the suspension and getting it out on the road by tomorrow afternoon. Plans to get out for most of the weekend. Looking forward to the new ride.

Make 110% certain your sag is set correctly. My revo front end was initially very stiff, after it broke in it's pretty good.
If my rear sag (I have Ohlin's rears with resevoirs) is not set right it makes the front feel horrible, like bucking. i actually err on the side of too much sag (softer) than not enough and give the compression adjustment a few clicks.
Lot of trial and error for a good ride.

Have fun and be safe with the new build.

So, my Legend front install was completed first and I got to ride today for an hour or so before swapping the rears. The bike feels so much better - front AND rear. ???

Could it be that the front suspension was so poor it affected my overall ride? Seriously - the bike feels more comfortable and compliant all around with just the front swap.

Here's what I would like to know from you guys that are upgrading the suspensions. When I ride, and go over bridges, the transition from road to bridge is something our road repair people are clueless about. Either the road is an inch lower than the bridge, or vice versa. Either way, when you hit them at anything over 30 mph, they will usually launch me out of my seat.

Does the bike magically absorb these bumps now? I can fell some of them pretty good in my Accord, and when towing the 5th wheel, they feel almost as bad as on the bike.

Same thing kinda happened with me. I had progressive monotubes with two clips and progressive 444's. The front was always stuff but bearable. I didn't feel like taking the forks apart. When I got the pro-actions on; the front was unbearable. I immediately pulled the monotubes out to pull a clip and its been perfect.

Yes, it will make a higher difference when you get a good shock. Not progressive! pro-action has a 30 return policy is you don't like them. But you will! Other companies may do that as well.

BTW, I will like to see photos of the Accord pulling the fifth-wheel!

Lol, that didn't type like it looked in my head. Its when my TRUCK pulls the 5th wheel. Good catch, but it would be kinda like this, if it did.
