I am looking for a solution to turn my 2010 FLHRC Road King Classic into a solo seat but at the same time to easily revert it back to 2 seat bike.
Do you have any idea or suggestion?

Two piece seat like the mustang touring, and pick up the leather fender bib that attaches to the front seat rear pegs, and the back seat grommit screw when the back seat is not mounted. Hence rear set will mar up the top of the fender over time, so the bip when the back seat is not installed, covers any marks that the rear seat may have marred to the rear fender paint.



Mustang has them for around $40, and can order it the same time you order the two piece seat.

Harley lo-pro touring and passenger pad. Seat is suprisingly comfortable for a lo-pro.

 

Many of the popular seat makers (C&C, Mustang, Corbin, etc.) make a 2-piece seat for solo/2-up riding, including Harley. Just depends on the style and firmness in the seat you want. I have a couple of solo seats with the passenger seat for my King. However, it's just as easy to remove the solo seat and put back the Harley 2-up seat, which I do sometimes. I have the Harley Brawler lo pro solo seat. Looks nice and decently comfortable. I have a suction cup mounting rear pad in case I need to pack someone in an emergency. Works fine.

 

I decided to go with a 2 peace Mustang set up . I usually ride solo , so I wanted comfort for long road trips . I purchased a rear pillion with a built in backrest , so I wouldn't have to fuss with the 4 point docking hardware etc . I'm loving this set up , and so is my wife .
