If you think they're dealin on 07 leftovers...I can't wait to see what they do to get 08's off the floor next summer. The 08's aren't anything near the changes in 07(bigger motor and xtra gear)..they sure aren't gonna see a line of 07 owners willing to take the bath that some 06 owners took to get the 07's...can you say 0.00%(Kelly HD in Mass is doin that right now on 07's)...and $1000 off list

not to mention that HD is not offering 0% so they are making it up or switchin somewhere

 

I'll be riding my sweet running '07 for years to come! Unless HD comes out with a MAJOR increase in ponies from what I already have.................I'm content for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.

 

what you pay and what you trade works its way out so long as you wait x years~maybe 5 yrs~ then just write the check out and tell the dealer to hold one

 

I think HD has reduced production volume on baggers, I could be wrong

 

Was watching the business news on CNBC yesterday and they reported that H.D. sales were down 5.5% in the U.S.this year,but increased (forgot by how much) on the international market. I do believe the slump in U.S. sales is partially due to the changes made to the "07's, b/c a lot of folks will hold off buying a new vehicle until the "bugs" are worked out. JMO.

 

Oh yes it is gonna happen..hell my buddy bought 07 FLHTC from Boston HD last spring and it was list and they throw in a $1500 voucher. Heck he basically got a free stage 1 out of it. Kellys is no catch...it's list at 0.00% for 36months, and "That's -A-Fact---Jack!".So if you can put a chunk down and pay off in 3 years, you don't pay interest, I called today and that is the deal.The days of less-than-list(like cars) are around the corner my friends...

 

Yep maybe if HD is forced to sell most of it's inventory to the japanese we can recoup some our lost car sales and help the economy.
Besides if bike is built right it ought to last us each 5 or 6 years at least.
And unless the Japanese society has changed drastically, they won't put up
with bikes that run like chit. And their emissions law are even tougher than ours.
Me I won't buy again until at least 2010 or 11 if then.
