Rear Sprocket Change out?

Rear Sprocket Change out?
I have a '16 RG, all stock. I tell people it has enough power and it does, but more is always good. Maybe pipes, air cleaner and a cam some day.
I'll be doing new tires soon and I was wondering what others here think about adding a sprocket with a couple more teeth, or whatever when I have it apart. 80 mph feels pretty good and when I once did 105mph with the little woman on the back it was still pulling when I backed off. Note: I don't do that very often.
Other people here have way more experience than I when it comes to these bikes, I was just wondering what others think about the stock gearing?

The stock gearing is designed for the average rider. If you want more low end torque put the TriGlide trans
mission sprocket on. But, you’ll rev about 9% higher in all gears. If you put on a taklervrearcsprcket, you’re gonna lose low end torque.
Depending your budget, If you want lower revs at high speed, talk to Baker about a taller 6th gear.

Adding a tooth or two to the back sprocket will increase top speed an slow down acceleration, decreasing the front sprocket a tooth or two will help with low end acceleration but will limit to a small extent top end speed. You need to do some research to see which way to go, and changing the rear pulley is defiantly the easier of the two. My buddy dropped 2 teeth on the front sprocket and he said it is a lot more fun to ride now. The only issue is the limit of adjustment on the belt. Good luck with your project.

Incorrect
larger rear will raise the numerical ratio just like a smaller front
(think big sprocket on rear of dirt bike or hill climber)
just a lot less work to change the rear

i read the op as wanting more power not more “cruise”
correct me if im wrong
needs bigger rear within belt length constraints or smaller front within same
other option is swapping primary gearing with “evolution “ ( brand NOT engine) 30 tooth crank sprocket kit
But this can interfere with gear indicator and cruise control function on late models

I went from a 66 tooth rear pulley on my 07 RKC to a 68 tooth rear sportster pulley. two teeth gave me more low end grunt but it also messes with my speedometer by 5 miles an hour . If the meter says I am doing 80 MPH then I am actually only going 75 MPH, and it is the same at slow speeds as it is with fast speeds.
For what it's worth, I love it.
