RE: For those with Extended bags
Hey vegashd, It will scrape but you can get used to the new clearance. I hated to be honest because I had to make that choice at one time too but you need to know the truth. On a positive note, I can tell you this though... I have no problem on the twisties. The western Carolinas have tons of them. Even the Dragon (Deals Gap)has been tamed by me and my scoot with extended bags. You just need to adjust and learn to do the "unthinkable" with your new limitations. If I remember correctly, you race or are a crotch rocketeer. You know all about apex, turns and etc.. You shouldnt have a problem adjusting.
If you go through with this, let me suggest something for and your body shop. Have them rivet, glueor whatever, a littlestrip of sheet metal on the underside of the bag skirts. Toward the rear corner. When I get my bike painted, I'm going to do the same. Black top eats fiberglass pretty quick! lol..
Good luck bro!

I have them and havent rubbed since the new paint job! I take it easy rolling into corners. I do like the idea of riveting/glueing a small piece of sheetmetal to the back corners just in case... Even better would be to use some kind of flint stone, that way when you do hit, it will make cool sparks!!! Wait, that could be the next big Ebay thing, let me get to work on that patent!
