Like the other guys said how much do you want? HP cost, big time. The 96 ci is a fine platform. Buy the Thunder-max/auto-tune, pipes an a air cleaner kit for around $1700+- pendingand be happy, quit dreaming about riding wheelies without draining the bankand ride the ****.

Yup stage 1, pipes, intake, fuel managment. Around 80-90 hp & tq.

My idea of stage 2, big bore, heads &cam.

Should be in the 110 range, no big deal.

I would say with the 96" engine, you have a good base. I would look at; cams, Edelbrock Heads, slipons and better A/C with a map. You should get 100 HP and 90 - 95 # torq.

You could got a Turbo for about 1500, but the sound changes.

I did the 103 Stage II /SERT / SE slip-ons and now that it's got 900 miles on the build I'm very happy. Even 2 up it has plenty of power , and I came off a 108hp/110lbs ft Dyna.
After warranty expires I may look at T-man heads and cams , but really for now it works great. I'm averaging 45mpg 2-up , and the slip-ons allow me to cruise quietly while sounding great when I tag it.

Yes, for the better, expecially with the turbo spooling whine as you increase the load.

I`m looking into this also. I`m going with the Daytona Twin-Tec TCFI-IIsetup with WEGOwide-band 02 sensors.
The system will function with the factory cluster, turn-signal and security modules with the SAE J1850 databus.
It also has the auto-learn mode as well.
You can expand it to match your needs and software updates are free. You also have a 45 day money back return policy.
Sounds like a very usable product. They also have a diagnostic module for the PCM, TCM/SCCM and cluster.
