Default black out options for fork tubes

So I decided that I am gonna start the long, painful, and expensive ish process of powder coating and replacing certain chrome pieces to fit the black and red theme I am going for. I know my primary, trans cover and crash bar is gonna have to be powder coated but, I am not sure what I can do about my fork tubes. Looking at JP Cycles it looks like most of what they sell only covers part of the forks from just about the fairing skirt to about halfway down. Is there an any fork tube covers available that I am just not seeing?

Just have them coated. Will look far better than any cover you can buy.

Changing just the legs is not a big job at all, just perhaps a bit daunting if you've never done it.

I know my personal mechanical limits and pulling off the front forks are above what I am comfortable doing. I may have to check with a local shop and see if they can pull them off before putting in the Ohlins cartridges.

If you're having fork work done, the legs will be off.

An easy out for this job would be to buy new black legs from Harley or pick up a cheap take-off set and have them coated ahead of time.

Gloss black vinyl wrap. Find a shop who specializes in vinyl wrapping or, buy some vinyl wrap and start practicing, thats what I did. I have done my lower legs and cow bells 2 years ago, they have a few chips but still look great, the best part is, once I have some time I can pull off the old wrap and do them again. I have blacked out 3 other of my friends front ends for a cost of about $20 each. If installed properly they look perfect,
just my experience

Ive had every chrome piece on my bike PC, except for the chrome deal on the starter that I forgot. Still pisses me off!
Everything but the front end I had done while I was doing a 106 kit.

Fork tubes and cans I bought off eBay from a guy in Michigan. Reasonable price and the bike was only down while tore it down and put it back together.

It is a bunch cheaper to take as much as you can to the PC and drop it off all at once. My guy does a lot of custom frame and suspension powder coating. He told me he usually does black once or twice a week. He just put it in with the rest of the stuff he was doing. I used all new stainless hardware for the install
