Default Oldstyle V-logo Road King leather saddlebags

Hey guys!

I have searched numerous sites, tried all possible google search combinations, even found some used ones in USA (without any detailed description) and I've seen some pics on this forum.

Does anyone know what kind of saddlebags are these (pictures attached). Most of all I am searching for a part #.

I believe they are OEM part, my guess is from the 90's and my guess very rare...

Any information will be truly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

It looks like they are a design from the early 1990s.

It looks like they were manufactured by Jim Wear who passed away in April.

Little bit more on Jim Wear:

Looking at the eBay pictures, it appears he’d peeled the oem leather and replaced it with his own design.

As it’s a very special aftermarket item, think the op is going to have a heck of a time finding them. But it’s certainly not impossible.

I seen a set of those brand new in the box at a swap meet a couple years ago. The fellow said they came off a first year Road King. They were made by HD

My '96 Road King had those bags when I bought it used in 2013. I always assumed they were original.

There is a set of these for sale on St. Louis Craigslist. Look under motorcycle parts. The ad is 4 days old. Good luck.
