Taylor is on to something. I used to "Drop" old spark plugs. They tend to tumble up to windshield level.

 

Looks like two pieces of yellow nylon rope to me....

 

I would choose the top one and the bottom one as the best Carter pins to fill those holes.

Some guy came across a picture of a motorcycle on the internet ,drew some arrows on it and created a post.

 

Damn it. Was hoping for something a little more scandalous than that. I need to dig out some old spark plugs go riding soon.
