Default Cheapest way to add an oil cooler?

I have an 07 EGC and would like to know the cheapest way to add an oil cooler. I have seen the plugs at the oil filter what do they lead to? I have a manual and have not seen what theses are for. Thanks for the help Monty

This by far is the cheapest way. And works rather well too.

That looks like a good way. Would I still need the adapter? If so where would I get it at?

Ok, 04harleyboy has me beat, his is the less expensive and I've forgot that one! My bust.

But if you don't have an adapter you will need one. I've bought the parts from a hydralic shop today to convert my barsinto a cooler andcost me$7.57 so far. Thats with 3000 PSI Steal with cadnium plating. Not including the hoses yet.

I've already got a H-D Premium Oil cooler which I'm just going to take the coil off below my voltage regulator and use the adaptor I've already got installed. But will also run pre-made hi-psi hoselines to the bars from the adapter. Will change the hose fittings over to AN style.

Here is a link for Jagg adapter below:

I am very interested in hearing how yours turns out. If you would re post and let us all know. I also wonder if having the lowers on will hurt the cooling on a Ultra Classic. Keep us informed. Thanks

I can't imagine doing this. How do I know what's inside that crash guard that might escape one day and clog the lines? Could you clean it well enough with solvent to insure it would be clean enough to flow something as important as engine oil? I would want to at least temporarily install some sort of filter for a period after the installation to make sure foreign matter is collected before going someplace it shouldn't.

This is pretty cheap, I don't know how well it works.

I really like this idea. My question is how does it effect the oil level on the dipstick?
