Subscribed , I have a set of 48's sitting on my bench that I have been contemplating putting in bike . So far , the word around here , is what am I waiting for , get er done . I'm an average rider , not looking to win any races off the start , but like my power when I need to pass on the highway . I hear that's what these will do .

I put the Andrews 48's in my 05 Fatboy . The rest of the motor is pretty much stock except for the V&H exhaust and stage 1 filter kit and PC3 USB tuner from Fuel Moto. I could not have asked for a better choice in cam for what I wanted. I wanted a stump puller, I have a lot of torque all the way up to the redline. These cams sound awesome. I have been very happy with them since I put them in
Trust me they will not disappoint!

Yeah, Im not a revver...... I like the punch down low. I spoke with Fuel Moto, they suggested the Woods 555, great cam but I dont punch the bike. I like cruising and dont hang out much above 3000.

Thanks, I am really looking at the 48 or the 57. I read Fuel Moto's take on both cams and I think they liked the 48 better. I like the low RPM range of this cam.

great point, I guess Im a lugger, without actually lugging the motor. Never rev, i like hanging out down low in the RPM range. I do some two up, but not alot.

Fuel Moto has a ton of dyno graphs for the 103...should make picking a torque cam relatively easy.

PS...my Fuel Moto 107 Big Bore Upgrade is only 1 week away...my bike will arrive at FM today or tomorrow after a very long journey from the West Coast!

The 48's are a great cam. Ran them in my 96". Good bottom end that doesn't fall on it's face if you occasionally rev it out. It is as you stated a low end grunt type of cam. The woods 222 falls in that category as well as a few others. I think the other benefit with the 48's is they are easy to tune and not super fussy about exhaust.
