Default After market fork stuff? What is it?

Tried doing fork oil change and found this. Anybody know who makes it and or how much oil should go in. This is only on one side. Other fork looked like orginal oil. He might have replaced one fork.

Are you speaking of the bar in the middle of the spring? Is it a cartridge type suspension?

How much oil should go in it? It wasn't riding as good as my other bike so that's why I'm trying to change oil. Picked up 02 FLH sunday.

It hardly had any and bike ride was not as good as stock. I just put the same as other fork. It's full with the tube down some came out so probably a bit less. About ten ounce, seen that's what progressive monotube takes. Called PO he didn't know anything about it

Yeah, because you can be sure that the correct amount was in there.

On some models the forks are not the same from one side to another. This is the case here.

Left side fork illustration

Right fork

Sorry can`t help with oil capacity, I don`t have a service manual for an `02.

That's the Stock OE Cartridge (one side only) for 02-05 Touring Models with Fairing ... ie. Not Road King

10 oz. Cartridge side ... Oil Level 4.21" (107mm) from top of fork tube (fork collapsed, spring removed)
11.1 oz Conventional side... Oil Level 5.24" (133mm) from top of fork tube (fork collapsed, spring removed)
