Thay money saved can now go to make your bike better than the special
Well that will take quite a bit of money to do that LOL. For now I'm getting away with little upgrades so the wife doesn't give me a hard time for having a new $23,000 bike in the garage.
Congrats on the new ride.
What mods are on the list?
Thanks man. Nothing too big while still under warranty...thinking stage 1 but not sure which slip ons yet...perhaps Thundercones? Definitely 14" bars....probably factory 47. picked up a stock 2020 ultra classic seat for the wife and kids when they ride, way roomier and more comfortable than the stock road glide seat. Definitely 14" Klock Werks Sport Flare shield as the stock windshield is useless. Eventually the speakers need upgraded and amp.
So happy to be back on a touring frame after my little Dyna experiment lol. Considered the RGS but $4600 more was stretching me too thin. I love this bike and the color. RDRS is awesome as well with all the hills in east Tennessee too.
Congrats on the new bike.... enjoy...!!!
But I have to say, I really like that softail behind your right shoulder, in the background....!!
I made the same decision as you about a month ago. I was looking hard at the Special, but just couldn't justify the extra $4k. I do like the blacked out finish, but not enough for the $$$. Enjoy your new ride.

4k is alot of money. The 114 on the special is nice but after the 2 year warranty I'll build the 107...but the 107 is still a nice upgrade from the 88s, 96s and 103s I've had in the past so not complaining. My last bike which was a dyna was all black out and it was beautiful but a b**** to keep clean LOL.
Besides, I really liked the river rock gray denim. It looks good in gloss as well but I've always been a matte finish fan. What color did you end up with? And congratulations on your new Road Glide as well!
