Default 07 UC starter problem?? fixed on 7/28.

well as you see Ive got a 07 ultra with about 8700 miles but the problem is sometimes when i turn the key over all i get is a very low tone click. if i turn it over a couple of times sometimes it will start and sometimes have to try longer. Ive checked the battery connection and it OK so I'm wondering if it might be from the solenoid wire on the starter. I'm all ears any help will be appreciated

first thing i check is battery voltage to see if i have at least 12.5 volts, then check to make sure all the ground wires are tight...if not these , check the solenoid on the starter...it could be bad....

well no one seem to now what to do but i finaly figured it out , so if anyone else has this problem it was my green wire that runs into the solinoid that was loose so i sent it in and they put another one on that was a little tighter than the original.

Well I didn't see your post until today. I check everyday and today was first it showed up for some reason.
but I would of told you essentially the same.
Check battery voltage first, then cables at both ends.
then the solenoid engagement wire connection Looseness and voltage.
