The fairing seals just fine with my freedom. It was almost loose around the windshield screws with my stock shield. Love my freedom, it’s much thicker and looks good. I do like the look of the Harley wind splitter but it didn’t do anything for the wind and buffeting. KW flare probably looks best but a little thinner. Never seen and LRS.

I’ve tried several brands. In my experience and opinion, Freedom Shields are the stand out and what is on my bike now.

A bit of an older thread, but I didn't see the OP reply that he ever made a choice. So, my 2 cents....Like others have said, the LRS shields have gone up in price and down in quality. I will definitely go with a Freedom shield if/when a replacement is ever needed.

If I rode longer distances "Freedom", my rides now 600 or less went to a "KlockWerks Flare" like It. The only thing iffy is it has a tiny pocket of good air for your head, but I like the wind and you don't wanna be lookin out it.

I recently purchased a Freedom shield based on recommendations I read here. It is definitely thicker than stock. Seems to be of good quality although I have nothing to really compare it to beyond the stock shield. I can say this...if John's products are as good as his customer service, I expect to have this shield for many years!!! Very helpful guy to deal with!

I just put a dark smoke recurve 9” Freedom Shields on my Street Glide. Very happy with its function moving the air over my head while my line of sight is still a couple of inches over the top of it. The finish of the product is far superior to what Harley ships. They buff the edges beautifully on the Freedom.

My neighbor just put their recurve clear windshield on an Indian and those polished edges really “pop” visually. It looks great. Their recurve is much more subtle than many others.

I’m currently in the process of buying and customizing a new 2020 Road Glide Limited. When it’s done I’m planning to put a Freedom Shield on it. Having had one on my 2017 Ultra Limited I know how fantastically they are made. I can’t imagine riding behind a lesser shield.

I use an F4 Customs 8 inch recurve windshield and love it. No distortion. Can clean it with a paper towel and windex and won't get scratched. You can basically run a car our these things and it won't break.
