Yes, this just started as far as I know. I do not use the GPS very often because frankly, it sucks, but this last weekend I actually needed it on a long ride and it was absolutely useless. So cant say if it was doing it last riding season because I dont think I even tried using it. BUT over the winter I had most of the guts out of the fairing for a bar and suspension change. I'm sure I stuck the antenna back on top of the radio, I can check that again but even if the antenna as come loose why would it show so far off?

That's why I like to ask if problems like these just showed up out of the blue. Now, that we know you did some work under the fairing and might have not secured the GPS antenna, it might not be getting a good signal from the satellites and/or the signal is being interfered with by electronics. I would check the antenna and go from there.

My understanding is the unit receives information from several satellites and uses triangulation to alert the unit as to where it is. If your antenna is disconnected or loose then it's possible your getting only one satellite Back in the day TV's could receive a broadcast signal faintly but as soon as the antenna is connected a clearer picture was presented. Check the antenna for connection and better routing.
