If you are taking about your running lamps… well that is a different write-up depending on bike model and year.

For you with a 07 you have 27.5 watt bulbs (881 bulbs: Base PGJ12 - Right Angle) in your running lamps. You can install 37.5 watt (894 bulbs: Base PGJ12 - Right Angle) on each side for more lighting.

When you say running lamps are you talking about the passing lamps on the electra glides, etc. One on each side of the headlight? Or something else?

SILVERSTAR They make origional equipment bulbs look like candlelight. Here's a site that will sell them in a single bulb pack. Most automotive parts dealers only have them in packs of two. http://autoaccessories-4-less.stores...net/index.html

I too use the silverstar from Sylvania for the primary headlamp, much much brighter than the stock, for the passing lights I use the heliolite 881 32w xenon white high wattage, they work great, only 5 watts above the stock bulb and many times the brightness...... they cost 25.95 for a pair where I bought them, just pulled up the reciept...... got them from a company called Eautoworks Inc. in the Los Angeles area, if I remember right they shipped same day and I received the next day.... also bought the led tail lamp bulb with 27 led's in it ..... bought the load resistor too didn't end up needing the resistor so still in my garage... the led tail lamp was 17.95....

Does anyone know if the European lamp assembly will fit the EG family of bikes?

Thank You

What bulb is the brightest yet will not cause any over heating?
I ran 85/100w H4's in my old RK for nine years, and have had one in my '07 SG for eight months, neither with any problems. It makes a big difference.

Kuryakyn sells these for about $9.

Stick with the stock light and add some kind of auxiliary lighting. Those aftermarket "brighter" bulbs are junk and will not last.
The higher-wattage H4's I've used (85/100 and 90/100w) have all been durable, lasting an average of 3-4 years, which is as long as I ever got out of the stock 55/60's. I've used Hella and Sylvania, but I would stay away from the fad bulbs ("Xenon," etc.), including those with a blue tint, which does nothing to aid in visibility and probably decreases it.

The European headlamp assembly I reported on is RG specific...don't know if there is an equivalent part for those with single headlights.
