Default Led and load leveler

I have a 2019 Road glide and would like to update to the led blinkers. Will I need to reprogram any thing and or use a load leveler?

You’re not supposed to need a load equalizer on the CANbus bikes so you should be fine.

just make sure you follow the directions to allow the ecm to 'learn' the new load. should be spelled out in your install instructions.

No load equalizer needed on your bike.... I just happen to have the Custom Dynamics BCM Sync procedure for canbus bikes....

Thanks for this. Installed the led front turn signals on my 2020 Limited last week and must have missed these instructions. This eliminated the "fast" dash indicator problem I was having.

It's the opposite of a CANTbus bike.

A Controller Area Network (CAN bus) is a robust vehicle bus standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other's applications without a host computer.

From Mr. MaGOOGLE.

If I remember correctly... in 2011 all Dynas, Softails, and Sportsters went to the can bus system.... The Touring models went to the can bus in 2014 with the Rushmore bikes...

It's a really good system for many reasons... It allows for a much better interface for accessories, computers, and systems to talk/interact with each other...
