Default Rear air shocks oil

Rear air shock oil I recently bought a used set of 12 inch air shocks to lower my bike a little. I did not realize they had oil in them. That being said draining the oil was very simple turn them upside down it all ran out. My problem is when I try to put oil in it just pushes it right back out how do I put the oil in I've tried everything thanks

I redid mine with, I'm almost positive, 7.5wt shock oil. A little firmer than stock, helps slow down the compression and stop bottoming. If you're heavy that is.

I just did mine with a mighty vac, harbor freight version. You’ll need a barb fitting to use in place of the airline fitting. 5/16 thread, I think, barb on the other end. I got one at autozone, 4 bucks. Put the shock in a vice right side up, pull a vacuum on the shock. It sucks the oil right in. I don’t know how else you could do it. The hole is very small to re- fill through. It worked just fine for me.
you can also empty out the old oil with the mighty vac.
