I just wasn't able to find the install instructions on my phone and didn't have access to my computer. Thank you very much. That helps out a lot.

The emblem on the fender is stock Since the tail light is gone the filler lights are my tail lights and blinkers now, but I'm going to order the fender tip light so I can get some of the rear visibility I lost back.

I'm still waiting on my stretched bags and then I'll be done with the cosmetic changes

I hear ya. The visibility is the reason I'm keeping the brake rear brake light. If you want a chrome tip tail light I got one for sale. haha

Now if it were black.....

You may change your mind after you get the filler lights and decide to lose the tail light. The filler lights, as I'm told by the guys I ride with are very bright and easy to see. I think if H-D offered the filler lights as stock there would be no need to have the big ugly tail light on the back of the fender. With the license plate where it is the bike looks great with out the tour-pak installed too.

Your bike is looking good!

That emblem is the only piece that I kept from my rear fender. I actually stuck it on a garage cabinet as a memento!

My extended bags are out for delivery today. This is attempt 2.0 from a well known online dealer. Attempt 1, when they came one was broken from shipment and the other was the right part number box/label, but a standard sized bag. Then COVID hit and I've been waiting ever since with the shutdowns and such.

And to keep it slightly on topic, while I generally detest Yaffe stuff, I find this plate frame to be a great fit even though I had to replace the LEDs in it since the ones that came with it were burned out in sections. I ordered the black one and had it painted to match.

They make them for CVO and non-CVO fenders, but not sure how they would work with the stock tail light. Worst case you might have to keep the tail light and do some drilling below.

It took 4 weeks to the day for Colorado to get my blue plate to me, but it was worth waiting for seeing how it all but disappears with the paint color.

Never really thought of that, It does look really good too. I was planning on adding the saddle bag lights just below the lids.

Looks fantastic!

Any miles yet or are you still putting things back together? I've been sort of changing things while trying to rack up as many miles as possible. I have 2600 on the odometer now and the bike was out of commission for a few days while I did my cam swap. I ended up doing the stage 2 from FM install myself instead of having my dealer or an indy do the install. I had so much fun doing it that we did the same install on my nephews 2019 RGS. I'll be happy with the performance for a long time and the bike sounds as great as it looks.

I can't wait for my saddle bags to get here. Depending on how they look with the rear fender will determine whether or not I end up swapping my rear fender in the future. The bags won't be painted denim black on the bottom like the stock bags are. I don't really care for the way they painted the black on the back of the saddle bags. It almost looks like they couldn't decide where to stop with the denim black. I think solid denim silver will look more seamless.

The lights below the lids, the antenna location kit and license plate mount were the reasons I started this thread. I didn't like the look of these and was looking for alternate ideas instead of purchasing the kit. I did end up saving some money not as much as I thought I would) but I got a lot of ideas from this thread and the look I was going for. The wire stowage idea using plxi glass on the quick release tour-pak mount was priceless as was the license plate mount.

Post some pics when you're done...

I'm still stuck at 6 miles, but that was because I had been waiting on the plate. I had a temp, but it wouldn't have fit in the Yaffe frame and I didn't want to muck up the fresh paint on the rear fender by temporarily running the stock CVO tag mount. Everything else is back together though, and ready to hit the road as soon as I get the bags today. I was going to toss the stock ones on just to get some riding in, but I've been busy with other house projects, like building a storage shed to reclaim some of my garage space! I'm hoping I can stack up some miles pretty quickly.

Which cam did you end up swapping in? Since I haven't really ridden the 114" yet, I don't know for sure what my engine plans are yet. I can still hear the 128" kit calling my name though!

I also agree with you about your extended bags. The black looks a touch out of place without any black on the rear fender, but even still that black and silver looks great together.

I went with the woods 22x, FM adjustable push rods, woods night prowler lifters, I bought FM inserts for my DBX 45's because you lose quite a bit of low end torque with those mufflers so Jamie suggested I use the inserts which work great. They also provided the added benefit of quieting the very loud mufflers down to an acceptable level. I also Installed the FM stainless jackpot head pipe and the S&S tappet cuffs. FM sent me the map on the Dyonjet I purchased and all is good in the world. The weakest link is probably the SE ventilator air cleaner but I like that its low profile and since it says screaming eagle on it state inspection stations will hopefully just assume my bike is EPA compliant and has nothing more than an EPA compliant H-D performance package installed. if I ever end up going with a big bore kit it will be way down the road. Overall I'm very impressed with how well the bike performs with the woods cam and other improvements. It pulls really hard from right around 2K RPM's all the way to 6K.
