Engine shaking question, on 2007

A friend of mine had an '08 FLHT. At idle, it looked like his front wheel was ready to bounce off the ground.
There was actually nothing wrong with his bike. That's just how the 96 in his bike idled. Off idle that thing was pretty much as smooth as glass.
Still, wouldn't hurt to change out the front motor mount. It's not a difficult job.
I'm running a glide pro front mount in my '06.

As far as engine mounting is concerned there's nothing different about a rushmore. Actually a stock rushmore will have slightly more vibs at idle due to the HO cams.
M8s touring bikes on the other hand have are partially counter balanced to reduce felt vibrations at idle.

I don’t want to keep you from buying it but that started happening to me on my 2007 Street Glide and I eventually lost oil pressure. Keep an eye on it. What happened was the crankshaft slipped and got out of whack. I ended up getting a new crank and oil pump, covered under warranty thankfully. One of many problems with it. If you really like the bike then make sure you get a warranty. If not I would suggest a 2009 or newer. Plenty of good 07s out there I’m sure but I wanted to give you a heads up.
