Angry New Guy - !4in bar install issues

Hello HD Community,

Looking for some help here, i decided to install my 14inch Paul Yaffe bars. I have a 2019 Road Glide special, I watched and read about 50 videos before attacking this. I kept stock wires it was snug but it fit. After a few hours we had everything done. After wiring it all back together none of the switches on my bars will work or my speedometer. Also noticed that the fuel and battery gauges on my fairing wont even turn on. The bike itself will get power like the main head unit and i hear the fuel pressurize. But other then that nothing i cant turn over the engine now. I checked all the wires and all the fuses under my seat everything looks good. All connections are good and the pins were checked also. After speaking to some technicians from rev Zilla they said i had to have snagged or crimped a wire while running them through my bars because of the hard 90 degree angles.. I found that hard to believe since the wrapping was so thick on the wires so i did everything to avoid pulling them out to make sure this was not the case. After being stumped for hours i said screw it and pulled all the wires back out to make sure that was not the case. After pulling all the wires out they were completely fine. If anyone can shed some insight on what i may have missed please let me know I’m dying over here lol. Thanks.

Did you pull the 50A Main before starting?
Have you actually removed all the fuses & tested them with an ohmmeter?

no like an idiot i did not originally. Which i was told i could have blown one of the fuses in the fuse box, but i tested all of them and they were fine.

Did you reconnect the speedometer/tachometer gauge wiring?

I noticed not doing so will cause the issues you’ve described.

I did this like 3 times on my 15 RGS with no issues. If I can do it anyone can. It’s gotta be something simple. I never removed the main fuse either. Maybe the pins didn’t go back in the correct order?

Probably set those codes when the issue was there. Clear the codes, ride the bike, see if any set again, If so, there's still a problem. If not, cool.
