If you have the room, Handy Lift hands down; 100% American made. There's a world of difference between a jack (even a good one) and a table lift.
The J&S is a good jack; except for the Chinese bottle jack. They want too much money for one to have cheaped out like that. Anyone who'd pay what they want for a jack will pay more for one that has a US made bottle jack that doesn't fail.

You will love having a lift table. When I bought mine it was one of those things that after using it a couple of times I wondered how I ever lived without it.
I was at a guys place a few years ago with a friend looking at some parts the guy was selling. He had saw cut his garage floor and re-poured concrete lower so his lift sat in a box making the top level to floor. I remember thinking it was pretty cool, but that it was kinda crazy over the top too. Damn if I am not seriously considering doing that in my shop too now.

Handy Lift, save your back and your knees, once you have one you will kick yourself for not getting one 20 years ago.
This is my second Handy Lift, side extensions and rear wheel drop out, just under 2K with tax, shipping etc.
If I had a bigger garage, I would buy another one in a minute...

Wow.... I thought my little bike garage was clean and organized.... nice work space...!
I never even considered putting cardboard under my scissor jack when I use it on my lift table...

Thanks, I keep cardboard to put under the bike when working on it, a soft place to put expensive parts down on.

I bought a used Kendon stand up motorcycle lift. Although the top is not as wide as a regular table the legs are just as wide and it's just as stable as a full size lift. It does everything a table lift will do except take up space when not in use.
