Default Looking for someone with PCIII on stock 07 Ultra

Just want to compare maps. I think mine needs to be fine tuned. I still have slight ping at steady low rpm cruise. No ping when I accellerate or at rpm's above 2400-2500. Completely stock bike, no pipes or air cleaner. Just PCIII.

Any input would be appreciated.

Im interested in this post, bone stock and have been leary of any ecm mod. I like the tmax but If and when prefer something less evasive to avoid dealer detection( 7 yr warrenty). like to get the bike to run a little smoother and cooler wouldnt hurt. also It does have the good old stock ping o ling. still thinkin and reading on people with nothin but a pc111...ect

Definitely worth the money. Cooled the bike down and eliminated a lot of detonation. Just looking to see if someone is running stock like me with the PCIII to compare maps with. Mine could use a little bit of tweaking but there's no dyno close by and I would like to try some more fine tuning before I take it a hundred miles down the road to the closest dyno.

I like the PCIII because I can remove it and no one can tell it has even been on the bike. If you hook up a SERT, even if you revert back to the stock map, the shop will know you ECM was altered. Other fuel management systems are really expensive too. If you have an extended warranty, unless the shop you deal with is willing to honor the warranty with installation of a SERT or other system, then the PCIII is the way to go.

My PCIII has been reliable so far and haven't had any problems with it (knock on wood)

Christian, did you use the O2-sensor eliminators? If not, you are still running at stoich in the region affected by closed-loop regardless of your PCIII values.
