Default Header pipes.

Hey all. Just a question I haven't found on here. I'm looking at purchasing Rinehart slimline duals header pipe for my 2010 limited. I heard that they're great for stage 1 and 2. But might not be the best for high performance engine work. Does anyone have these with stage 3 or 4? Or know why they wouldn't be good for future stages?

Dad had them with Rinehart slip-ons and didn't like them (his exact words were, "they were ****" - he really didn't elaborate..but maybe they ran hot?). Not Rinehart bashing as he (and I) likes his slip-ons. He went with V&H Power Duals and Rinehart slip-ons and loved them (for his Road Glide). I got the same set-up for my Stage 3 18 FLTRU and love the sound (thought maybe a tad too loud), look and performance.

Anecdotal of course and I suspect others can give you more nuanced responses.

I have them on my 2016 CVO LIMITED. Originally with 4 inch Rinehart yes too loud. Replaced slipons with original screamin eagle slipons much better. Then I did a stage 4 117 big bore kit runs great no heat issues. Love the way she pulls.

The Slim Line duals work well and support up to about 120Hp
