Ha, I was not surprise by the results or I was glad there was more like me.

I lease my car. Just got a new one, a Camry. Even with the MSRP, my FLHX cost more than the car. It use the car for the family, or if the weather is really bad to ride the bike to work.

Bike is worth less than one but more than the other.

my bike is easily 3 times that now

actually I own 3 cars. ALL 3 of them added together in resale would not cover what i paid for my bike out the door a year ago

 

you bet its worth more than both my wifes car and mine. there is so much stuff thais needed for our cars. but my wife and i would rather spend it on the bike or go on a weekender with the bike

im like most of you all, my truck is a 00 F150, the wifes car is a 03 Altima, my scoot is a 06 RG and hers is a 07 Shadow, and i see her trading the shadow in first, "its her fist bike and she wanted somthing light and small" Now after she has sat on some softails i thought she was gona trade with less than 1000 miles on the shadow, now she likes the "Pretty bright orange Vrod with the Eagle on the side" and i politly told her no was in He** was she getting a sport bilke, at least not until she had many many miles under her belt. Even though the thought of taking the Vrod out when she was at work did cross my mind several times. But i would never trade my RG for a Vrod
