"Blacked out" '08 Ultra...would you? (pic)
Sitting here playing with photoshop, and pondering whether or not I should pull the plug (no pun to previous post) on a Vivid Black Ultra.
However, when I bought my RKC a few years ago, I chromed everything out the door. This time, I'm considering blacking out the bike.
Here's an altered pic of the 2008 Ultra with some chrome blacked out, a shorter windshiel, and cropped antennas.
Feel free to convince me to purchase this bike.[sm=goodidea.gif]

I see a trend. Black is slowly becoming the new bling.
Some parts like the engine guard and front forks as well as some other small ones like levers and mirrors can be purchased right from HD. Others you are going to have to take car of yourself. Do a search on the HD parts site in the touring family for "black". That'll give you a good idea what you can by and what you need to get painted or powdercoated.
