Been there, done that.
Once, I was following a dump truck, styling and profiling, not paying attention, looked up and the truck had stopped! Hit my brakes, laid the bike on its left side, slid up almost under the truck. Never hit it. I don't think my head hit the pavement, but I alsways hear a helmet anyway. He drove off (I reckon he never saw me back there). I got up, picked the bike up, thanked the Lord I was okay and drove on home. Never again has it happened. After that, I kept my eyes to the front and paid attention.
It was a good attitude adjustment and a lesson learned.

Get well soon.Some riders aint that lucky. In one month Ive had two close calls that I couldn't control or avoid. One a cage coming at me head on in my lane and second a deer ran right out in front of me at night. Somethings are definetly in God's hands.
