Default ‘15 RGS lowers advice

Thinking of upgrading sound, reading about water issues in bags after adding lid speakers makes me think about adding lowers with pods. Currently just have soft lowers, which have been great for bugs and rain. I generally don’t like the look of hard lowers but would like a little more volume while riding. What are some thoughts for lowers with speaker pods?

......... the hard lowers would be even better for bugs'n rain
... and it can't hurt having another pair of speakers in front

I should have also thrown in the question of brands. What have some people done/liked?

You’ll find on here it’s Advan by a landslide! I have the OEM only because they didn’t have my color. People like the Hogworkz also. The one complaint on the non OEM’s is that the hardware is not as good as Harley’s.

I spent the extra money and bought OEM and had them colormatched from the factory. The price wasn't too bad from Surdyke. I had to wait a couple weeks for them to ship to California. I've got the color matched speaker boxes on order now. Not sure what speakers I'm going with yet.

Just be sure to wear a hazmat suit and bathe them in isopropyl alcohol LOL, wouldn't want to catch anything
