I had a Road King and it was a great ride. While I had my Road King I wanted a bike with a fairing and a radio. I was without a Harley for over 2 years and bought an Ultra Classic. I love having the fairing and especially a stereo. Try and Street Glide and see what it is like to ride with the stereo.

One thing you might want to check on is the ability to change the bars with the new throttle by wire set-up. I was told by one dealer that this could be a concern, and when I asked my wrench he said he'd have to see one first to make a determination...Just a thought...I am in no way responsible for the accuracy of these statements!! So if they are inaccurate send the payment stubs to them!!!

OK, I wrote down all your names. If I am not happy with the Street Glide, I will be sending my paymentsyou guys. Now to decide if I should get the StageI now where the Dealer will warranty the work or wait til break-in.

The feeling of riding 'on top of the bike' is common when going from a softail to a touring bike, at least in my experience. I got that same sensation when I switched from my Fatboy to a Street Glide. I think it's because the Fatboy had a much lower center of gravity and lower seat height. When initially I rode away from the dealership I thought I had made a mistake, but I must say, the feeling passed quickly and I'm very pleased with the SG.
