This is with the tape laying flat from the bottom of the ignition switch to the tip of the seat 6 3/4" and tape laying flat to the seam in the back of the seat. 22". The angle of the seat slopes down towards the back more I think instead of being level like the stock seat. One thing I forgot to mention that I had to adjust my mirrors so it does lift you a bit higher.

Great photos, thanks!
I'll have to check my stock Street/Road Glide seat and this new-to-me LePera Maverick DDL later today measuring the way you did. Should be a good apples-to-apples number since we both have M8 Road Kings.

Appreciate the pics, and review! I need to make up my mind on a solo. I like the laid back/a bit lower design. I had this with my last C&C SportTour.
So many damn seats out there! The CVO that Skratch posted has my eye, too

I am on the fence, looked at the Corbin Solo Classic also the CVO seats. Talked with the folks ar Sargent and I can ride their seat for 30 days
and return it if not satisfied, think about going whole hog and ordering it heated.

I think if you add heat to a saddle they will charge you a healthy restocking fee for returning it. Just FYI.

So I ended up sending my seat back, just not for me, the thick seams dug into my butt, they were just placed wrong for me. Upside, they gave me a refund, downside it cost me $104 to ship it back at the least expensive rate. Fed Ex lable was $39 done with weight and box measurement label printed from their site then I get a charge on my visa for $104 three weeks later. This is more about the scam shipping from Fed Ex than the seat. Sargent was really good to work with.

Before I start running my mouth. From where to where did you ship the seat? I just sent 2 separate seats from FL to OR & CA that didn't cost nearly that much.

CA to FL. Very odd that they'd jack up the price three weeks after shipping and after it was delivered using their box measurements and their weight and having fed ex measure and weigh it before it was sent. I went round and round with fed ex, they wouldn't budge and says it's my fault even though weight and measurements were printed on the label in the same box that it was sent in. "we apologize sir" Their apologies are no good, they stole $100 from me. They told me next time to use the chart. I used their online form with correct weight AND measurements Next time? Not gonna be a next time. I won't use any online company that uses fed ex any more, I'll check before I buy from now on, it's getting more difficult, I don't use UPS either because everything I get delivered by them is smashed. Screw fed ex. I guess I'll start buying locally. There doesn't seem be be any reason to buy out of state anymore since the tax laws changed.

That's absolutely crazy blap. I sent my seats that were roughly the same size as yours with the rear pillion UPS to CA was 43$ OR was 52$
