Bassani Exhaust for Roadking

Bassani Exhaust for Roadking
I am looking to change out the the current Samson Rolled Thunder slip-ons currently installed on my 02 Roadking during the upcoming winter wrenching season. I think I have narrowed by choices to either THunderheader slip-ons or the Bassani Reverse Cone megaphone slip-ons mufflers. Bassani's hype on these slip-ons is as follows 'a very noticeable increase in useable horsepower and torque over a wide power band. Performance oriented Bassani True Reverse Cone Megaphones offer another very important benefit. They sound cool as hell! The sophisticated megaphone and inner core produce a sharp, crisp, extremely aggressive, exhaust note youd expect from a highly tuned performance machine'
I am leaning towards the Bassani's but would welcome any input/experience any folks out there would have on either of choices. My bike has a carb so I am prepared to go thru re-jetting exercises.
THanks in advance for any feedback provided

RE: Bassani Exhaust for Roadking
Everyone is different when it comes to exhaust. I love the way thunderheaders sound. They are LOUD period!! I like loud. Though, I have the bassani slip on's on my bike. The bassani has more of a pure sound that comes out of a harley. It's just right. Its not to loud but when you crack that throttle (WOT) its music to my ears. That's when it gets loud. Thunderheaders are loud all the time. I also like the size of the pipe bassani has. If your set on the bassani's go for it. I have no complaints since I've had em.
