Default Fuel Mileage

Question: After purchasing my 2006 ultra, typical gas mileage was about 26 to 29 mpg. After changing to Thunder headers (2 into 1) and a Screaming Eagle Tuner Kit, mileage is now 30 to 35 mpg with 22,000 miles on the Bike. Is this your typical mileage?

I expect to get over 40, do a search on this forum for gas mileage, poor mileage, etc there are some good ideas recently posted. I have a very similar issue and I am taking my bike to the dyno next week.

My 07 EGC is stock and after 7500 miles, I get 44 mpg one up every day. This is on mid grade gas. Don't see or hesr any difference with the high priced stuff.

I get 40-44 mph consistently; you should be doing better than the numbers posted here.

40-45 mpg... might get a little more than that if I've mixed in some 4 lane driving utilizing 6th gear...
