Also check all the screws that hold the latch to the bag.

 

I did find the lock assy nut loose. Tightened, road test..........still there. The latch feels like there is no movement but shkes like crazy when riding in lower gears.

 

I hid some marbles in your sidecover for a joke.

Seriously.....baffles loose in the pipes? Had that happen once.

 

I think this is the same issue I am having right now. I will be checking it out tomorrow and will report back.
