I just plug mine in with a Radio Shack cable, turn the volume on the Nano to 11, hit shuffle, and then stick it in the left glovebox. I've thought about using a small piece of velcro on the glove box door lid so I can skip a song if I want to.

The cable plugs are 3.5 mm (just tell the Dork-of the Day what you want to do when you get to Radio-Shack).

Walmart, Target, Best Buy....they all have the cable you need. I don't have a mount so I just put a piece of velcro at the tip of my seat and ran the cable under the console.

Bobby's mounts are really nice! I have one he made for the RoadyXT XM receiver that also works perfectly for my Zumo 550.

I make sure mine is fully charged before I leave the house. Normally, if I turn it off when not in use, it will hold a charge for 2 or more days.

BigJess, just pick up a cig-lighter type recharge cord at Circuit City,Best-Buy,etc. If you need to charge it during a long outing you can plug in the charger and ride while it's charging. That is as long as you got a Street-Glide,EGlide Classic, or Ultra(bikes with cig lighters)..don't know if Road Glides have lighters....
