Check your front engine mount.

Is this your first Harley? If so it is hard to know if an issue or just new to you. But rubber mounted engine vibrate more at idle. I don't want to to say its normal, cause I am not there. Best to have someone familar with harley touring bikes, look.

+1, tons of threads on front motor mounts. How many miles on your bike? My stocker was done around 25000 miles. Don’t buy a cheap one, they suck really hard.

Could be your motor mount or your fairing brackets could be cracked (take off the outer fairing and check).

Default Vibrating

My bike only has 9k miles on it!its damn near brand new! Garage kept never dropped, 1st gear my faring vibrates and Vince Hines mufller rattles! It is my first Harley. Its probably just normal and I’m not use to it? But when I get rpms up past 2000 it goes away, 1st gear just doesn’t seem to be smooth and no speed!

First H-D,yeah that's prolly the issue given the low miles but yeah check the motor mount.

If your bike sat in someone's garage in Vegas for 13 years, that engine mount could be rotted from the heat. With mileage that low, I doubt the fairing mounts have cracked.

my bet is broken fairing mounts. I have an 07 sg. Had to replace both. Should have been a recall. They were very weak from the get go.
kroozeabout. ps. good luck and enjoy

So if you’re right and the engine mount is rotted from 13 years in hot garage! How much would that be to fix and can I check it and Diogenes it myself without taking engine out???? And hey thank you all for your knowledge! I appreciate it all! I paid 7200$ cash for the bike with 9000 miles on it by the way, i think it was a great deal! Its brought me tons of joy in just a short time since I’ve had it, if something major was wrong like engine mount or cracked faring! I would think that would be more noticeable then is??
