I screwed it up a few times, (kept turning ignition off before stopping logging data), and then after getting it right ran four sessions and after each session uploaded the results only to find the bike was less smooth after each upload. I did that 4x and it was the *hits so I then reverted back to map FM sent me and it was back to being acceptable.
Then came a dyno tune and a whole bunch more power found.

Did you watch the FuelMoto videos.....? I found their videos very easy to follow, and always run a few auto tunes on their supplied maps, just for fun....
FWIW.... I've auto tuned several maps from FuelMoto and almost all of them have had an average cell change within 4% by the second auto tune session. I've had a few that were 4% on the first AT session.... That shows their maps are usually very, very close....
But if you should have an issue with one of their tunes, run a data log and send it to them with the problem. They can usually fix the tune based on your data log info...

I was assuming the map in the bike was updating along with the map in the powervision but it does not. You need to load the changes just like you did with the first map you installed.

The thing that confused me at first is the autotune is only making changes to the map in the powervision, not the ECU. After you do an autotune run you need to save that file into a slot in the powervision and then flash the ECU with that new file, then you can do the next autotune run.

Interesting, I had a fuelpak on my dyna dnd I'm pretty sure autotune would update the map and you would have to load up a new map each time...

Bought a PowerVision and Tuned my 96” Stage 1. MAP supplied by FM and 3 Autotunes ran great.
Added Cams and went through the same deal with FM and it again ran great.
Recently added a Jackpot 2:1 and once again followed the same steps except this time I sent some logs to FM and was sent back a really great tune.
PV is also great for Speedo calibration and as a meter cluster. I display Tach, Speedo, MPG Avg, Engine Temp, Volts, and gear indicator.
