Full-size refers to the size of the driver's footboards. Harley calls them simply "rider footboards."
Mini refers to passenger footboards. Harley calls them simply "passenger footboards."
Footpegs are footpegs, they come standard on Street Glides. Harley calls them "passenger pegs."
I take what he is saying is the difference between the mini's, the Streamliner boards, and the standard passenger floor boards. The Streamliner boards are much smaller than the standards that are on my road king. They are not much bigger than the mini's. The wife does not like them at all because of their size it limits the amount of foot positioning she has. I do agree that the standard passenger boards do not look as good on the street glide as the chrome Streamliner's do but if I had it to do over I would have gone with the standards for her comfort.

I went from a the standard full size passenger boards to a set of minis. The wife did not like the mini boards, they were narrower and caused her to have to angle her feet inwards which would make her legs ache. I switched back to the original passenger boards and she's happy again.

I do prefer the look of the mini boards over the full size but I'm not sure comfort wise how they compare. Any feedback I can get before I lay money down I would appreciate.
Mini-boards are more comfortable for the passenger than pegs, plain and simple

You could also get the adjustable highway pegs that work with the floorboards
