Default EVO or TWIN CAM EXHAUST?

hello,

i bought on ebay from a very reliable seller the OEM exhaust for my 99 FLHTC twin cam.
I just went back on my ebay and I acutally got confused as the seller says in the description "good for 96-06 touring models", but the the first year of TC was 99...and when i asked the seller if it would have fitted on my 99 FLHTC he said yes... I guess from the curve it is correct but i'm not 100%
could you help understanding from the pics below if it will fit on my twin cam or if i have to contact the seller and return it??

I don't know if that will fit but it looks like 2010 or newer exhaust. The big flat section where the 2 pipes come together is where the catalytic converter is. I have seen older bikes with that newer exhaust on but I don't know if it's a direct bolt on or needs some fab work. If you're going to try to put it on, you should de-cat it.

Yeah, definitely not OEM exhaust from pre-09. They didn't cross over underneath. That's the 09-16 exhaust. It can be made to work though and looks better IMO.

It will fit your engine, but the O2 sensors (if you have any) are likely different and I think you'll need a bracket underneath to mount it.

That is not the head pipe of a early TC
That looks like 2009 up TC

I have an '08 system on my 1990 Glide, so Evo and twincam systems will swap, subject to possibly adapting the mounting brackets. A later cross-under system can be made to fit, according to a few members, but requires a little extra effort.

2009 Touring models came stock with exhaust crossovers and routed under the bike and not equipped with cats (except CA ). 2010 touring came with the same crossover configuration and mufflers but had a cats in the head pipes that heated up a lot where the mufflers connect to the stock headers. So some after market mufflers might be susceptible to discoloration. But almost all stock mufflers from 1995 thru at least 2014 should physically fit.
