Default 06 Street Glide cable extensions.

Good morning everyone, I just purchased an 06 street glide from a local dealership and want to replace the own bars with 14” bars. I’ve searched, but haven’t seen any information singling out the 06 street glide specs. Can anyone please tell me if I need cable extensions for this?

You will need wire extensions along with cable and brake lines.Magnum makes a very good kit to do this.

Wild One makes nice apes for baggers. I have installed several sets over the years and they very good quality. They have a gallery on their site as well so you can see how they will look on your Street Glide. Typically with 14" apes you will need +8" cables for the brake, clutch, throttle and Idle cables. Magnium Sheilding has really cables in a choice of finishes. With their cables you will need to buy the front lower assembly for the front brakes as well. I use NAMZ for the wiring extensions. You only need 8" but I always buy the 15" extensions so I can stagger the joints with in the bars. I just finished a set of Bagger Apes on my friends Road King with a Dragonfly Fairing last week.
