Hey guys, I am 6'3 and weigh 275 pounds and the stock seat starts to hurt pretty bad after an hour or so. I was thinking the detachable backrest would help, but then I saw someone with the same bike who had the Harley pillow-look seat. He said it was the best thing he ever did. Anyone have any experience with this seat or any other suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

 

Absolutely love my Corbin Dual Tourer. You will get as many opinions as there are seats on the market.

 

The stock seat is pretty comfortable for me, however on long trips a gel sheepskin works great for the butt. however if its your back hurting, you may needto try the back rest

 

I'm 6'2" 255 and had the same problems with the stock seat on my RKC. I also felt that I constantly was inching back on the seat during the ride. I bought the HD Sundowner Tour RKC. Kept the same style of the stock but is a little wider and more lower back support. I've put about 1500 miles on the new seat and am completely happy with it.

 

I think my Corbin Dual tour is the best seat I've ever had. Unlike the gunfighter I had before , this one is not rock hard. I got the heated model ..Expensive but worth every penny.

 

Iput the sundowner on my RKC a week after I bought it. IMHO it was worse than the stock seat. I now have the Mustang 2-up one piece seat and love it!

 

i have the sundowner 2 up and its really comfy for me, lots of back support. i want a solo seat now however, and i hear the sundowner solo isnt as comfy as the touring. im considering a mustang, corbin, danny gray or c and c. ya, i really have it narrowed down....lol
