i didn't mean bogus in the 'not authentic' sense of the definition, but more in the 'that's a shitty thing to do' sense..... sorry, grew up on the beach in the 60s and 70s...

Folks, the dealerships have nothing to do with your warranty. It is mother Harley. If a Tech hooks up the scan tool to your bike, it sends the info from the ECM directly to mother Harley. If mother Harley see's any difference from stock ECM readings, and you didn't use a Harley tuner, they void your powertrain warranty instantly. This also applies to the extended ESP powertrain warranty..
if you attempt to trade-in your bike and the buying dealership see's your Powertrain has been flagged by mother Harley, they cannot sell the bike with an ESP warranty either...

Man I’m reading through the responses and I’m so at a loss... I just got a 2020 rgs and I gotta say - stock sounds like a moped. I ran a full Bassani system on my 2013 with pvc autotune.... cams done etc. that bike was loud and sooo fast. I don’t think I ever put only mufflers on with a stock header so this whole slip on thing is new to me. Would I need to change the tune just for the slip on’s?

I’ve put around 100 miles on these now and they’re great in my book! 50 state compliant and built in the USA too.
Being as I have just passed the 500 miles threshold on my bike I haven’t really gotten into it yet but I have taken it up to 4300 rpms or so and they sound good. I haven’t noticed any +\- in performance. Bike is stock.
I have a crappy cell phone video but I can’t get it to load.
