Default 2019 Road King Special - Handlebar Issue

Just checking if anyone else has had this issue and if so, any potential products/fixes...

Order apes (Wild 1 Chubbys - 1.25") from Hill Country. Upon purchasing them, was told no aftermarket risers were made for this model and I needed to order/use a set of aftermarket sleeves (as the stock bars are wider then 1.25" at the mounting point). Can't remember the brand, but received them with the order. The sleeves are simple two half pieces that fit over the handlebar when mounting to the stock clamps.

Bars/sleeves installed, clamps are tightened to the max, bars can be moved forward/back with slight pressure. I've tightened the clamps as far as they'll go without snapping or stripping a bolt.
Definitely unsafe for the road, should the bike hit a slight bump, have the brakes applied hard, etc.

Thoughts?

Thanks. But yeah, my question/issue wasn't discussed in the video.
My bars with the sleeve inserts don't appear to be wide enough for the OEM clamps to snug tightly enough.
Appreciate the video tho.

I have wild one 14 apes on my rks with wild one adaptors. Which like you say are 2 sleaves that go around the bar. Also used poly riser bushings. My bars don't move.

I suggest you contact the people you got them from. You may not be the first with this problem!

I drill and tap the top clamp and use setscrews.
