i've been using the Dunlop Elite (American now) tires for 12 years now, have never felt a need to change.. i ride fairly hard with my E-Glide and i usually get 2 fronts to 1 rear.. rear is usually between 10-13k

I just put a set of Dunlop American Elite's on my bike this spring . So far I've got approx 4000 miles on them and they still look brand new . I found that they handle the pouring rain very well . Glad I went with them . Only time will tell how long they will last .

All going to depend on your riding style. Are you slabbing freeways constantly, or riding in the twisties?

Hot climate where you live? Guess I should have paid better attention in school. But to answer the question, another vote for the Dunlop AE's.

I have had good luck with the Dunlop American Elites...... good wear (18k+ on rear, 24k+ on front) rides well on many surfaces, and as much rain as I have ridden in ( a lot.... each annual trip consists of several days of rain) I have not had an uncomfortable feeling. I also use RideOn instead of balancing. Never had a lick of trouble with that as well. My opinion, but the American Elites are pretty decent at a decent price.
