He's not very mechanical, but he's a very experienced rider. I keep telling him to bring his bike over and I'll do the work with him instead of brining it to the dealer.

 

I'm on my 3rd twin cooled Harley ('15 FLHTK, '17 FLTRU and '19 FLTRU) and not a single reliability issue with any of them except trans migration on the '19 which was fixed under warranty at 350 miles. I wouldn't hesitate for a second if you're considering buying new....
