I just picked up an 06 Ultra Classic with 1325 miles on it. I'm getting about 38 miles to the gallon or about 150 milesor so a tank. Some of the guys I ride with have Ultras and say that is about right. Others say to give it a little more time to break in and the mileage will increase a little. Is this right? Everything is still stock on the wheel.

Yep, that's about normal. Some get a bit more some a bit less but alot of it depends on your riding habits/style.

 

I have a 05 EGC. Got her about a year ago with 1788 miles and now has 5300. My fuel light turns on with about 160 miles and have ridden close to 200 miles on a tank. Seems she got better then when i first got her.

 

It sounds a tad low. However, your right hand may be the cause of that.

Gentlemen, thank you very much for your posts. I appreciate the input. Yes, on occasion, I do have a problem with my throttle twisting too fast. I'm trying to figure that one out now...lol....Thanks again.
