2019 Road King Special - Turn Signals
Guys-
Just took delivery of a new 2019 Road King Special.
As well, just received my new handlebars (pre-wired with new controls, plug-n-play).
I want to relocate the hideous, OEM handlebar-mounted turn signals to a set of flush mounts (similar to these https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...yABEgLK4vD_BwE).
The pre-wired handlebars have the pigtail dropped out of the handlebar controls.
Does anyone have any thoughts/experience in the best approach for identifying the needed wires (for the indicators at the main plug (for the bars) and if there's anything to consider (given the pigtails for the turn signals have no less than 4-5 wires for each signal).
Just as an fyi, I have spent an hour or so scanning through previous posts for related information, but found nothing specific to needed wiring mods (since I'm not using a plug-n-play turn signal/headlamp assembly)
I've done many installs before. But these OEM signals on the bars are causing me a headache.
Thanks in advance.

it'll take a while to read through it, but I think the answer you're looking for is embedded in the Road King Special thread. I looked at it doing the same for a while, iirc it comes down to buying the Ultra Limited turn signal bracket, or using the standard Road King light kit and powdercoating.
I decided I liked the bullets on the handlebars and stuck with them

Was able to get the flush mount turn signals to work by tapping into the lead and ground for each in the headlight bezel. Unfortunately in ignoring the plugs near the grips, I'm getting error codes with one stating something about a short on the Run switch. Knowing all is good with the Run switch wiring, I'm thinking it has something to do with the un-used turn signal plug. The plugs have four wires: 1 continuous hot, 1 hot based on turn signal, and 2 (I believe both ground), No clue to how HD wired these things. Still researching...

if you go to the Harley sip site, you can download a copy of the wiring diagrams. that should help you out a bit.
