My wife has a 2017 SG Special with a solo seat on it, what is a good back rest to use? I've been looking but most look like they are for a 2 up seat with the open slot, she rides solo seat. Pretty sure its a HD solo seat, with the two bolts that sit left to right of each other and hold the seat down

I’ve looked too and I dont think Harley makes a backrest for that type seat. All of their driver backrests take a large bracket. That’s why the Sundowner solo is so tall in the back, to hide the big mount. There is a website that sells a custom backrest for the solo seat on the CVO Streetglide that should fit. But they want as much as you paid for the seat. That’s why I don’t have a backrest currently.

I saw this in another thread somewhere. The sissy bar is reversed and they built a small tie rod for like $10 to make it work. I might try this at some point this spring.
