Default Getting some driving lights. Clearwater.

Want to thank the members that posted about the Clearwater lights and interacted via PM answering my question. Rode in to the Clearwater Shop today to get Erica lights installed. The switch crap was too confusing for my simple minded brain so I am going with their switch located in the left lower fairing door.

I will provided updated photos when they complete the install. And I rode home. Thanks again for the help.

I think it is safe to say the lights are water proof

The Erica Lights are on. I am looking forward to trying them out at night. Little over 300 miles round trip but definitely worth the trip even with mid 90 degree temps outside.

Tried out the Lights this morning. Prior to adding these lights I had to use the Hi beam on my 19 limited and the passing lamps when riding at dark. I just could not see the road over 40 mph, with the high beam on it still felt like I was out riding the beam above 60 mph. These lights are outstanding. Not sure how effective they are turned way down to 5%, but move then up slightly higher and WOW. I can see the road now. I tried them on dark No light roads passing through the country as well as the Interstate. on sweeping turns without light and its fantastic. I used to worry about running over objects in the road at speed as I could not see them/ this is no longer the case. I used the high beam a couple times when conditions permitted. Holy smokes they are wonderful. The lights are pretty big in diameter, so if you are in to looks these may not be the lights for you. I wanted to be able to see in the sierra mountain roads at night and these will def allow . me to.

A friend that rides BMW Adv bikes turned me onto these also. He raves about them and has 2 sets, Erika and something smaller. Loves them both! A sweet thing about the BMW, it has a CANBuss adapter that fully programs the lights intensity for any scenario including horn, hi beam etc.

I happen to be into looks and am just trying to wrap my head around where I want them but, I will at some point. Not only for my own vision but hope to help the dumb a$$es in a cage

Darla Fork mounted lights may be your answer for a cleaner look.. the mount on the front fender bolt.
